None that I'm really dying to but one I really want to get my hands on .. The Wedding Letters by Jason F. Wright.

Foods you wish you could eat and never gain a pound
All foods!  I kid you not.

Things you have in your purse/bag/wallet now
I'd win Let's Make A Deal because I've got tons and it's not even a big purse! ... Kindle, receipts, iPod Sharpie, napkins, calendar planner, whistle, erasers, yo yo, little Lightening McQueen car, 2 wallets (credit cards, money, membership cards), keys, coupons, wipes, and more I don't remember, I'm too tired to go look.

Movies you never want to see again
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (#2 or #3??) ..I don’t remember who dragged me to see it but if it was my brother, he never picked a movie again and if it was a date, I never dated him again! :D 

Movie you watch over and over again
None ..I just don’t have the time. If I did, there would be tons but here’s a few: West Side Story, Song of Music, Star Trek:The Future Begins, Here Comes the Boom, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Battleship, etc.

Are you a dreamer or a realist?
A dreamer.

Theater or Rental?
I'd prefer to actually go to the theater but Redbox rentals are more affordable.

Share a family tradition.
Lately, my husband takes our kiddos to Grandma's after church on Sundays and I'm left to myself for a few hours for me time.

Favorite late night snack?
Anything sweet ..the more chocolaty the better!

No, too much work!

My first boyfriend, Don.  I was 21.

How do you unwind?
If my husband's around, I'd pounce on him ..otherwise, I'd read or watch a TV movie. ;)

My sister's leche flan .. shoot, that means I won't survive long!

Printed books: The Help by Kathryn Stockett and Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard

Red or Green?
I like the color green but red looks better on me.

Favorite Christmas Carol?
That's a hard one!  There's so many awesome songs.  Umm, a classic one I like is "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" then there's a new to me song that I discovered 2-3 years ago that I fell in love with sung by a Chinese Filipino called, "Christmas In Our Hearts" by Jose Mari Chan.



What do you want for Christmas?
Items:  Wi-fi at home; books; Amazon gift card; a maid; surprise me.
Non-item:  truly feel the spirit of Christmas; spending time with family, relatives, and friends.

Favorite Holiday Treat?
I really don't make anything traditional nor do I seek anything special during this holiday so there isn't a favorite.  I like chocolate, mint, and something creamy in texture so a combination of those would be fabulous!

Favorite Holiday Tradition?
Christmas Eve potluck at my parents.  However, I'm looking for one for just my nuclear family so I'm open to suggestions.

Here's this week's questions and my answers:

If someone wrote a book about your life, what would the title be?
Off the top of my head, "Sweetly Confused"

If you could have a signed copy of any novel what would it be and why?
I can't think of a novel (that I have to have, any signed by an author would be great!), but a signed copy of Gordon B. Hinckley's non-fiction book, "Standing for Something" would definitely be a treasure.  It's a book dear to my heart.

Horror or Romance?
Definitely romance because horror=I'm a big chicken!

If you could choose only one time period and place to live, when and where would you live and why?
I like where I am now but just for a moment perhaps the '50s in the U.S.  Seems to be fun and innocently hip when portrayed in TV/film.

Do you prefer a bunch of small gifts or one big expensive one?
Depends.  Example: 1) One time someone did a 12 days of Christmas.. I vacationed in Canada with relatives during the holidays so he wrapped up 12 little gifts for me to open, 1 gift each day 'til Christmas. 2) My husband bought me a car for Valentine's Day.  ~Both pretty awesome. :)

This week's questions were tough.  Here's what I finally came up with:

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
That I didn't know what missionary position meant.  I was 21-22yo when I heard the term used ... you can probably imagine the confusion/horror going through my mind considering "missionary(-ies)" to me back then meant those young Mormon men and women sharing the gospel.  It wasn't long after that that I took sexuality class in college. :D

Beach or Pool?
For swimming, neither because I can't swim well.  But for ambiance, definitely beach!  More filling to the senses ..sights, sounds, smell, etc.

If you had 24 hours alone how would you spend it?
I'd start with a shopping spree at a book store then pack my loot and fly to Hawaii.  There I'd read along the beach to my heart's content (on my side is an all I can eat/drink snacks/drinks).  After reading and snacking I'd go to a spa and have a total body treatment.  Then go back to my suite and lie down on a super soft luxurious bed and read until I fall asleep.

Coke or Pepsi?
This is a Coke home!  It's my husband's water ..I kid you not!  Of course it's often the coldest drink in the fridge so I can't help but sneak one here and there for myself. ;)

If a movie was made about your life, who would you want to play the lead role and why?
I honestly can't think of anybody!  This is not a cop out.  I tried hard to think of someone but nada! :(

If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you want with you?
Dang, no people!!  Okay, things it is (assuming I can do a Robinson Crusoe on food, water, and shelter):  1. Scriptures 2. Soap 3. First Aid kit

What is one book everyone should read?
The Book of Mormon.  :)

If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
A happy touch .. any person I touch becomes happy. :)  And if I can have more:  I'd like to be able to fly! ..or have the ability to instantly go anywhere.

Harry Potter or Twilight?
Ooh, two great series in its own right.  I haven't finished Harry Potter (only read the first four) but I already know I'd love the rest and the entire series as a whole.  The Twilight series I completed and the first series I ever read ..so it was special.  Hmm, I go with Harry Potter.

Gum or Breath Mints?
I don't do either but if I have to choose, I'd choose gum since breath mints often sting.

What's your favorite season/weather?
Winter.  I love the rain and I dream of a white Christmas.  :D

PC or Mac?
I have a PC.  I hear Mac doesn't get viruses ..is that true?

When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew up"?
Wonder Woman.  Also a princess, an Olympic ice skater, a teacher, a nurse.

Favorite music?
Soft and some contemporary.  I like Bruno Mars.

Facebook or Twitter?
Facebook.  Still learning Twitter.

What TV show/movie/book do you watch/read that you'd be embarrassed to admit?
I don't watch TV or see movie that much anymore and fairly a novice reader so I'll have to go way back ... I'm embarrassed to admit I used to watch the soap "One Life to Live" in the early '90s.  I didn't know then but I think it fried many of my brain cells!

My paternal grandfather.  He died when I was about 1yo.  Sure would like to have gotten to know him.

I still haven't seen The Help ... waiting for it to go Redbox.  I don't go out much.  :(

Don't recall the influence of books when I was little so, none.  But now, I'd say Anne of Green Gables.

If you were a super hero what would your kryptonite be?
I'm Wonder Woman so that would be bonding my bracelets or being away from Paradise Island too long. ;)

Hot or Cold?
Definitely cold!  I can pack on more clothes when it's cold ... when it's hot, let's just say it's illegal to go buck naked in public!

When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew up"?
I recall looking up to my aunts as they were getting ready for work and fell in love with the white dress uniform, especially the nurse's cap.  So, I wanted to be like them and become a nurse.

Black.. it hides the rolls better! :)

Favorite Food?
Almost anything with eggplant.

You have won one million dollars what is the first thing that you would buy?
The services of an army of maids to clean every inch of my house!!

I try to be cautious when it comes to personal details about me or my family but I want you to know that there is a real person behind the Wonder Woman so I will let my guard down a little bit. 

Here is this week's questions and my answers:

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
These days it's rocky road or moose tracks.

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Hmm, this is a hard one.  I don't really have a favorite.  I love food so I eat all the traditional breakfast foods, but usually I like rice with a Filipino- meat & vegetable- dish ..like pinakbet.

Night owl, or early bird?
Night owl, though I'd like to be an early bird.

One food you would never eat?
Off the top of my head, I'm thinking snails ...bugs in general!

Skittles or M&Ms?
Definitely M&Ms ... I'm a chocolate girl!!
