Teaser Tuesdays #2

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB @Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along. Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page

I'm currently reading "The Door in the Wall" by Marquerite De Angeli, a 1950 Newberry Award winner.  I'm on page 48 of 121.  So far so good.  I'm liking the lingo ..see the teaser. :)
